A new NBA agreement 49..49 and 2

It’s about time for everyone to remember who butters your bread. The owners provide this league and the players perform. Thanks to both of you! The owners invest and put in an infrastructure that most of us couldn’t build in a decade (I do exclude Amar'e Stoudemire from this list). Can you imagine; the team, the support staff, travel, arenas etc?
Players? Some of the best entertainers in the world, Thank you!

The missing ingredient? The consumer, the purchaser, otherwise known as the FAN. Without us there is no league.

A fair settlement for splitting the BRI is 49/49 and 2.
Owners 49 - Players 49 and the fan receives 2.

How does the fan receive 2% ? BRI is determined at the end of the year. Each team receives 1/30th of this amount. The amount is paid to the season ticket holders of that year. Some fans will receive more as they support their team even in the down years. The top teams fans don’t receive as much but they are rooting for a championship.

This becomes a win-win-win. The league becomes stronger. Attendance should be stable and increase. Large markets and champions will always sell out. Small and rebuilding teams have created value. It’s easier to buy the next season tickets if you already have $400 to apply.
Higher attendance equals more concessions, more player adulation, and most importantly a larger following of the players and team (to the slow… TV revenue)

Sounds like a lot to give the fan? Average season ticket holder estimates are at 240,000. With your current numbers of 1% BRI we are looking at giving back $334 per season ticket holder per year or $8.42 per game. Not much for the corporate or elite but for us upper deck fans (some go in as 2 or 3 families to have these seats) we would love the gesture or what would be considering…a partnership.
